Ardent Presents is a production of Ardent Music, LLC.  The site features podcasts, articles, videos, and other content produced mostly at Ardent Studios or that revolves around local musicians.

Ardent Studios is a professional recording studio located in Memphis, Tennessee. Ardent also encompasses two in-house labels, the Christian-oriented Ardent Records and more recently the re-launch of the secular label that launched  the legendary cult band Big Star, simply called Ardent Music.

The studio established a name for itself with early classics by Sam & Dave, Led Zeppelin, Isaac Hayes, Leon Russell and The Staples Singers, then scored hits in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s with such artists as James Taylor, ZZ Top, R.E.M., George Thorogood, The Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan, The Replacements and Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The legacy continues in the new millennium with hits recorded by The White Stripes, 3 Doors Down, Cat Power, North Mississippi Allstars, The Raconteurs, Smashing Pumpkins, and award-winning music for such films as Hustle and Flow, Black Snake Moan and The Great Debaters. To date, Ardent has amassed over 70 gold and platinum albums and singles.

Since 2007 Ardent has been recording up-and-coming musicians for the Ardent Sessions podcast which airs on breakthruradio.com and can be downloaded on this site.  In 2008, another bi-monthly show was added featuring accoustic sets by singer-songwriters. Both podcasts are downloaded an average of 1.4 million times worldwide.
